Review on IMAK A10165 Wrist Cushion IMAA10165 by Rob Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than a mouse pad with wrist rest. works with different devices

This works fine for me. There is no top, no bottom, no handle, both sides are made of the same material to allow the pillow to slide. I use it on a laminate table and there isn't excessive slippage for me, but an additional caveat is that I use it with a Kensington trackball due to arthritis, so hand movement isn't as strong as a traditional mouse. The beads are comfortable and conform to your wrist, and the width (5 inches) is just right to "sink" and support your wrist. For me the height (1-1/2 inches, not compressed by the wrist) is ideal for keeping the wrist level when using the trackball, with the weight of the wrist its height is probably 1 inch. I've tested it with a Logitech mouse (vertically thicker than an Apple mouse), an Apple Magic mouse (thin), and an Apple Magic trackpad mouse, and it also keeps my wrist fairly flat and doesn't curl up well (Target). although tablet gliding was better with a mouse with increased hand movement than with a trackpad or rollerball. Basically satisfied. Worked better for me than a wrist rest mouse pad that wasn't the height I wanted. Btw I tried heating it in the microwave without researching what pearls are, held it on high for 30 seconds, heated a little, didn't continue. with longer times as I didn't want to ruin it.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
