Minimal clumping, but not perfect

I've always had a problem with carcass clumping. A trick I learned from a makeup artist is to very gently dip the wand in a tissue before applying; it works. This mascara is really good because it does NOT clump straight out of the bottle. However, it doesn't lengthen my lashes as much as my L'Oreal Volumious Mascara. I had to apply 2 coats to make my lashes look thicker (like L'Oreal does in 1 coat) and my lashes barely curled afterward. I've always found CoverGirl mascaras to be too wet/thin. They tend to "roll out"/straighten my lashes after curling and applying mascara. This new formula is better than the others but still hyped. On the positive side, this mascara doesn't stick even after 2 coats. But my beautifully curled eyelashes were no longer heavily curled. It wears well; minimal peeling and no stains after a long day. So I think if you prefer minimal thickening/lengthening of your lashes this would be a good product for you. Not sure I'll continue to use it as I prefer thicker lashes but it's a good mascara and worth a try if you've had clumping issues.
