I've been throwing weights for years, but have only just decided to get a proper lift shoe to help me overcome the squat plateau. but roomy where you need it, so choosing a Reebok for weightlifters was easy (and let's face it, there are few options and only if you want a little extra toe room). The Reebok Lifter PR II men's elliptical cross trainer is the least "lifting" shoe on the market, meaning it leans more toward the trainer's side than the lifter's side as it's a little more forgiving of lateral movements and in the upper is not that stiff. However, these are not machines or for use with movement/HIT based exercises, but primarily for lifting shoes. I wouldn't even consider doing lunges in it (perhaps stationary). In terms of fit, they're slightly narrower than Reebok Nanos, but not by much. Much sturdier/flatter so take an interest in them. Note that they will change your squat position, as for me, now I go a bit wider but can also go deep (I would already plate heel lifts from time to time), they will lift your heel, highly recommended if you they are short, let's say 6, this heel height suits you. If higher, raise the heel differently/higher.
