Fantastic bed! 5 Stars!

Fantastic bed! I have four cats (two sets of siblings) aged 10, 10, 5 and 5 years old. One of my 10 year old kittens has arthritis and is often cold during the winter months. I did some research online and found that using a heated bed can be beneficial for older cats (particularly those with arthritis) and boost their immunity, which is why I bought this bed with that in mind. I chose a 20 inch mocha cat bed for his 10 year old sister to share with him. It took a few days for the cats to realize it was heating up, but once they found out, they've loved the bed ever since. Now it is almost never empty! Now that it's winter, I leave it on 24/7. This is a huge plus because unlike the electric blanket I've used in the past, the bed doesn't automatically turn off when cats are still on it. I've tested the warmth of the bed with my hand and I love the amount of heat the bed generates and I love that I don't have to worry about overheating. My older kittens are quite small (about 6 pounds each) so they can sleep together and have plenty of space. The younger kittens also took note of the bed. This bed sleeps a total of three of my cats (usually both my older kittens and one of my younger kittens, each weighing 12lbs) which means the bed can hold around 24lbs of kittens rolled up. I've attached a photo of a younger and older kitten sharing a bed. In the picture they are stretched out, but when they curl up a third can climb inside. Update: it's been almost 2 years and cats still love the bed! I usually leave it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even in the summer because everyone loves it. I'm comfortable because it only heats up when the cat climbs into the bed.
