Review on πŸͺ‘ Premium Tan Upholstered Home Office Desk Chair by OFM ESS Collection: Comfort and Style for Your Workspace by Lisa Montgomery

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After 2+ years I do not recommend.

I have had an armchair for 2.5 years. I bought it mainly because it was cute and the reviews were pretty good/decent. Pros: The chair looks just like the pictures. Easy to assemble (it took my husband no more than 5 minutes). The height is adjustable. The fabric doesn't scratch (there are small beads after 2.5 years, but I just ran a fabric razor over it a few times. Didn't completely solve the problem, but still). Note: I am of average height, I am 30 years old. , a 5'0" Asian and my husband is an average 5'6" Asian and we both fit perfectly in one chair. Cons: If you are a WFH due to COVID-19 and looking for a chair, I do not recommend this one. Before COVID-19 I honestly used this chair for about an hour with no problem so I had no doubts. But when we launched WFH, I sat in this chair all day and made it a point to get up every 15-20 minutes to walk or stretch. It turns out to be pretty damn uncomfortable and after a few weeks I was struggling with my butt being like a pancake and my elbow/shoulder hurting due to the lack of an ergonomic design. It was terrible. Even my massage therapist friend bought this chair because it's cute etc. FIRST DAY she found it was uncomfortable and didn't suit her posture. This chair is 100% coming to our guest room where it will be very light. use it properly. My final piece of advice: if you know you're going to be a WFH for the foreseeable future, invest in a truly ergonomic chair, even if it's ugly. I did it and my body thanks me!
