The belt clip version that comes with these phone cases is well made, but there are some design issues with how the belt clip stays closed. I've dropped a suitcase (with a phone) on several occasions while getting out of the car. Too much pressure and the clip just isn't enough to stay on the belt. I tried compressing the clamp to make it tighter. But what it really needs is a 90 degree angle at the end of the clip on the inside where the strap sits. I just happened to look at the product page and saw this replacement belt clip loop. That's great. I have a few of these and keep them buckled when I have my pants hanging and ready to go. The phone holder simply snaps onto this loop clip. For me this is a much better method than a clip as it will definitely stay on the belt.
