Unlike the rough and heavy bag, they are not. Drawstring that just works. Soft twine as a drawstring. She described the material with acrylic markers and got along with them. I would definitely suggest trying the markers out on one as a test. There are 24 pieces in a pack. Less than $1 per bag.
