Before I decided on this mattress topper, I did a lot of research and am completely satisfied. It arrived in an easy to use box and when the plastic is removed it stretches to a good thickness over time. Very dense and not thin. For two days I aired in a separate room with the window open and the door closed. He had a noticeable odor for about a week. It's comfortable and form-fitting. Keeps its shape. Cradles the body, but does not press. I use it over a firm memory foam mattress. It does not slide but on the contrary sticks to the mattress so it stays in place. The size was perfect with some wiggle room. I use a quilted plush waterproof mattress topper so it's a luxe combo that works well. I washed my duvet, mattress pad and sheets after a week to completely remove the slight odor. It took a night to get used to, but now I like to go to bed early because I fall asleep much faster. Good value for money. Perfect thickness too. I ordered a second one for the quest bed.
