Before purchasing I read many reviews about this product and found it so strange almost everyone was in awe of how smooth it went through the hair. A comb is just a comb, right? Let me just say that I am in love with this product. There really is magic in this brush. I've had thick, curly hair all my life that gets tangled no matter how much conditioner I use. I've never had a brush that went through my hair in one quick motion. I always had to do a little combing, stop, untangle the tangle and start over. If you have the same hair as me, you'll understand what a struggle this is. When I tell you that this brush went through my hair like butter, I mean it. I was literally stunned. My hair wasn't wet. It was dry and was crumpled up which definitely creates a mess. I feel ridiculous for continuing to talk about the hairbrush. Seriously, this is an amazing product. I highly recommend it.
