Fleece inside was warm, worn 6 days a week in and around the New England winters - helped me stay warm while working outside so I could breathe normally. Elastic fitted my face well, made a little red mark on my nose but it might just be my body, no irritation or pain. Recommended for use in cold weather, it will be too hot in warm weather. Put it in the washer and dryer on regular cycles, the white logo will bleed a little, but nothing to ruin other clothes. I bought two more in blue and gray, highly recommend.
