My mother chose these for my brother to wear outside to play in the winter, hoping they would be durable and warm. However, upon arrival we found that these boots are much smoother and thinner than expected and not quite suitable for playing outdoors in mud and inclement weather. The boots appear to be of good quality and are great for church or social occasions such as boots you don't want to wear for long and don't want to get wet.
