I am very happy with this purchase. This is exactly what I was looking for. My shower/bathtub is a death trap. I think the device was made out of some kind of ultra-smooth polymer. I started using these peel and stick grips. Over time, they weaken and leave a lot of freedom. And they are very difficult to put on and especially to remove. I also tried one of these hard rubber mats. It was good, but I didn't like the look. I just came across the Gorilla Grip Mat on Revain. I liked that it was transparent which made it unnoticeable in the shower. I also like that it has holes for water drainage. I think it keeps the carpet cleaner and fresher between cleaning days. But above all, this baby knows how to grip! The suction cups are super strong. And there are 324 of them! This rug will not slip or slide in the bath. However, it does stretch slightly when it's time to clean. You must squeeze each suction cup to get the best results. I find that an effective way is to press down on some of them with your hands to secure the mat and then step on the rest to get the mat in place. Another nice feature is that liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner do not make the surface of the carpet slippery. I recommend this product for all ages and grace levels.
