I bought these to replace the standard Precision Clean brush heads that come with many Oral-B toothbrushes. I was hoping for a better cleaning than these standard brush heads because they certainly look more impressive and if I can match the performance of dental floss with this type of head I will. However, these attachments will not replace dental floss for me. . They clean no worse than other heads, but in my opinion no better either. So instead of cleaning better than regular brush heads, they are larger and more difficult to maneuver around teeth and gums. Other things being equal, I'll just grab the Precision Clean heads and finish next time. You may find that they work better for you, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. I use conditioner and occasional floss after my Oral-B toothbrush and there was no noticeable difference in what was left to remove these things compared to the Precision Clean head. If you have one or the other type on sale, do so, but don't pay more for it, and I see no need to go to great lengths to have that type and the larger brush size that comes with it.
