(updated: test after 1 year, see based on a small $20 Bluetooth headset. So if you have exceptionally high Have expectations please reset your expectations and set them to a manageable realistic level This is a long and fairly detailed review If you don't want the details just the gist then read the summary Would you like more information on if If this review was helpful to you please click Yes Thank you for reading my review Summary (basic): The Nennent S570 is very light, about the size of my pinky, and is very comfortable to wear wear time. There are inaccuracies in the manual, but its legibility allows me to control the headphones. The Sound quality is adequate. Fairly good for music, podcasts and calls (no problems at all). If you're looking for a small, lightweight earbud that has pretty good audio clarity and lasts up to 6 hours, then these might be the ones for you (it was for me). Contents: (skip any part you want to read) 1. First Impression (Unboxing, Appearance, Quality, Photos) 2. Instructions (Readability, Common Sense, Language, Errors, Warranty)3. Product functionality (does it work as advertised, rigorously tested in many parts)4. My personal opinion as a buyer (is it worth it for the price)1. First impression The Nenrent headphones come in a fist-sized black box that slides out when you pull a small black tether, much like opening a drawer. Inside the box is a half-fist-sized, red, durable, hard case with a zipper and carbon fiber design. Inside there is an earphone, 2 ear tips, a USB charging cable, an aluminum key clip and a Nenrent S570 user manual. I was pleasantly surprised that it comes with a nice hard case and an aluminum key clip. Please take a look at the illustrations I've uploaded which contain everything I mentioned including the dimensions. A small issue I see for others is that the two earbuds are the same size, not different sizes, which might be a better option for some buyers, but for me and my small ears, this fits very well. Headphones are very light, have a simple design and an unobtrusive color. The earbud doesn't feel overly sturdy due to its plastic body and may not stand up to injury; So be careful not to drop it on hard ground. Everything is unpacked and looks very nice; I got a little more than I expected for the price, but we'll see how it performs in a real test.2. Manual This manual is a long, folded piece of paper approximately 16 inches wide and 3 inches high (see illustrations) with instructions, pictures, and a diagram printed on the front and back of the piece of paper. The manual is written in something like Times New Roman size 6; pretty small and may need a magnifying glass to read the instructions better. The manual does not specify/list what you should receive in the package. The instructions and information in the manual are not perfect, but not too difficult to understand. That would be nice compared to some really badly written instructions I've seen. Since these earphones are not a complex product, the instructions did not make it difficult to get them in working condition, despite the many errors. One issue I found out fairly quickly was that the instructions state that when charging the headphones the light will turn blue during the process and when charging is complete it will turn off. The indicator was red while charging, and turned blue when fully charged. I left it charging on blue for a few more minutes and stopped it because the manual warns not to charge it for too long or it may affect the headset (headphones) or battery life. Update: The manual doesn't seem to state that there is a red LED on the earcup (the manual doesn't mention a red LED at all). Warranty: 1 year, but I don't see any contact information. If you plan to give it as a gift, the person will not be able to claim the guarantee. So if the warranty needs to be serviced, the original buyer can try the warranty service.3. Product functionality Battery charging: The red LED lights up as soon as I connect the headphones to my USB 2.0 laptop using the supplied USB charging cable. The initial charge was completed in 22 minutes after unboxing. The charging time given in the manual is 20 minutes to 2.5 hours (other places in the same manual say 20 minutes to 2 hours). After completely draining the battery, it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to fully charge it. Pairing via Bluetooth: Pairing via Bluetooth was easy and hassle-free as per the instructions. Hold the MTB headset (multifunction button) for about 5 seconds or until it flashes blue and red. Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your phone and select "NENRENT S570" to pair it with your device. Pairing signal distance: I walked 35 feet across 3 rooms while still connected. The signal range is more than 10 meters as stated in the manual, which is definitely a plus point here. Earbud Fit: A. This earbud (not an earbud) in its pure form fits my ears very comfortably. Keep in mind that I find my ears quite small and I usually use the smallest or near-smallest earbuds with other headphones. These earbuds are so small and light that I don't even notice I'm wearing them sometimes. I wore these headphones all day and listened to music with no complaints. If you are concerned about the comfort of wearing these headphones for long periods of time, I'm here to reassure you that these headphones will not affect you negatively (I'm switching between earbuds). The earbud (with tip) fits well and amplifies the sound I hear at the same volume. The tip of the earphone sits more firmly in my ear. It is fixed more tightly, so it may be more suitable for active use, e.g. B. in sports. Good fit aside, I had to turn the volume down by one to get the same sound level as before as the tip of the earbud increases the sound level. Headphone Sound Quality: (To cover both high and low frequencies. I will test the headphones with classical music, jazz, classic rock and podcasts) A. Volume: Music/sound volume is controlled by your phone or the one you are connected to are, definitely. Headphone volume/level is very good; I had no trouble listening to music at minimum volume. With these headphones you will not have any hearing problems. Make sure the volume is not too high, otherwise it may cause ear pain. The different types of music and podcasts I listen to have been good, not great, but passable. One thing I have to emphasize is that you are listening with one ear, which I think reduces the overall tension and atmosphere that can arise when listening to music, classical or otherwise. Clarity of sound: i. Music app: Overall, the sound is clear and pretty good (remember, these are $20 headphones, not your $150-300 headphones). With the variety of music I listen to (high and low frequencies), every note was heard, every note to the point. These headphones handled everything flawlessly, no squeaks or static reaction to my music bombardment. Again, keep in mind that this is all done through one ear, so the experience can't compare to two-ear devices. As for the music, I just like it in the background, like a nice noise, and sometimes I want to get into the sound of the music and dive into its depth without caring about myself. You can't dive with these headphones but the background music is good and as a one piece headphone this is exactly what I'm looking for.ii. Telephone call: The quality of the telephone call was flawless without any problems. The clarity of the headphones was crisp and clear and the other person on the other end of the line said the same thing everything was fine and clear.iii. Podcasts: just right for podcasts. Unlike music, podcasts don't require as much attention to detail, but purity. As for me, I can multitask while listening to my podcast in one ear and I think I do better with these earbuds than a dual ear device. Why do you ask? Well, a free ear allows me to be more aware of what's going on around me and pay more attention to what I'm doing (multitasking). Headphone battery life: A. Music: This test was done in a quiet office environment with my Samsung Galaxy phone playing music, so the volume was set to low volume 2-4 (quite loud actually). The good thing is that the music sounds good and I'm aware of my surroundings and can hear what's around me. I've never exceeded volume 7 on my phone (when using headphones or earphones) but I think it goes to at least 12, so 2-4 is about 20-30% volume on my phone, and I held my phone within 3 feet. from me for this test. The instructions indicate 6 hours of battery life at a volume of around 60% when listening to music. The headphones lasted 6 hours and 5 minutes before a "Battery Low" verbal notification rang out in a British female voice. When this notification arrives, it continues every few seconds, so after three low-battery notifications I unplugged the headphones. Battery life is pretty accurate; although the volume was less than 60%.B. Phone Talk Time: Well I'm not a phone operator so I can't test the battery life of 6-8 hours of talk time. Assuming talk time uses less power than music, it should last at least 6 hours when combined with music and a call. Multifunction button: Personally tested. Bluetooth pairing: long press for 5 seconds until flashing red/blue, then pair with your phone; No problem.B. Power On: Works as advertised, 3 second delay and female voice prompt "Power on". C. Power off: Works as advertised, 3 second delay and female verbal prompt "Power off". D. Pause/Play: Tested and works well with music apps. Answer a call: no problem F. Hold a call (hold 2 seconds): works well G. Hang up call: works well4. My personal opinion as a buyer I don't find the Nennrent S570 to be a perfect product, but for the price it is outstanding. I was looking for something very lightweight, with no dangling cords and not obtrusive, but with good sound quality that would last for hours. The Nennrent S570 is the size of my pinky and delivers 6 hours of playback with clear, high-quality sound. It's immaculate for what I'm looking for and for the price points, what more could I ask for. It would be even better if it was waterproof or at least sturdy, but that's not an impediment for me. But for $20 it's out of my pocket and I can use the money saved here to buy waterproof/waterproof or active sport headphones. My Opinion and Buyer's Final Verdict: The Nennent S570 is a great purchase for my purposes and price. I hope my review of this product was helpful to you, if so please click Yes. Review UPDATE 02/07/2019 (Please note I purchased these in December 2017) Hi All, It has been a little over a year since I purchased the Nennrent S570 Bluetooth Headphones and the original review (wanted in update my previous review but can't find it on Revain so I've posted it now with this update) and now I want to take this moment to tell everyone what I've thought about it since. I keep using this little guy more often compared to my other wired headphones, earbuds, wireless/bluetooth in-ear sports headphones because they are so light and comfortable. When the experience of using the S570 for walking and jogging felt so natural to my ear, it was like I hadn't worn it at all. My other wired and Bluetooth headphones and earbuds often bounce and pull my ears somewhat. After trying the S570, I noticed a big difference. An earbud works well for me and sits comfortably while listening to music or other audio playback. To date, the Nennent S570 still holds a charge and works just as well as the first day I bought it (maybe it could hold a little less charge, but that's to be expected). They might not have the best sound quality if that's what you're looking for, but for me the compromise of being so light, portable and comfortable is for me. PS: for everyone who likes to listen to music while walking or jogging. In the city these headphones may be for you as you can still listen to music with one ear free and be prepared to hear any warnings around you for your safety (too much exposure to music can lead to accidents on the road, especially in places with heavy traffic). My Opinion and Buyer's Final Verdict: The Nennent S570 is a great purchase for my purposes and price. I hope my review of this product was helpful to you, if so please click Yes.
