Review on McKleinUSA HUBBARD15 6 Leather Double Compartments by Nick Narvasa

I've been looking for a nice leather bag for a long time and this one seems to be just the ticket. But the skin is so tough I wonder if it's really leather. I'm not talking about the rounded edges of the fairing, which are clearly vinyl. No, that's the main material of the bag - it's so hard and grainy that I keep looking at it and wondering. It goes well with my 15.4 inch laptop, which is what I wanted it for, so I have no complaints. But other than that, it has very little space inside, especially for a bag so big and chunky on the outside (inverted Tardis?). The nylon strap also looks pretty cheap and doesn't quite match the look of the bag. I replaced it with a shoulder strap from another bag. The bag I received is slightly different from the picture of this item. My bag has an additional fourth pocket on the front bottom right, and the picture only shows three pockets on the front. Was actually a pleasant surprise. If I had seen this item in person in a store, I'm not sure I would have bought it. The leather just doesn't look right.
