Everything looked great when unpacked, but that was the first impression. It was well packed. The problems started when I assembled it. The dowels dangled in the holes and didn't provide enough support, so I glued them in, even though there weren't any instructions for doing so. There are several metal pins connected to round fittings that lock with a quarter turn, one of these broke when I locked it but I thought maybe only one is bad. I noticed that none of them closed well because they were of poor quality. However, I persevered and finished the frame thinking it would be fine and actually seemed solid enough once I had the back installed. However when I installed the shelves I decided this would be brought back. The shelf pins did not seat properly in the holes and the holes were misaligned when drilled causing the shelves to wobble a lot, up to 3/8 inch on some. I have bought DIY furniture from Revain in the past and they have been good quality and assembled perfectly but I wouldn't even give this item one star if I could give it zero. I disassembled it and it will be sent back. What a waste of time!
