I really liked this scarf when I started using it. It has a great length and its colors are very pretty. And it certainly does the job of keeping my neck warm. However, this scarf sheds a lot. And the source of that precipitation is its interaction with my chin. I keep myself fairly clean-shaven, but a small strand of hair on my necklace is enough to constantly shave large chunks of fabric from a scarf. Not only do these tufts snag awkwardly on my chain, they cling to my beautiful black coat and require a lot of separate brushing to remove. Honestly it's quite a hassle and I'll probably be ordering another scarf soon. My other scarves don't behave like this. I repeat, I don't have a big beard. I have very little facial hair. And since this is a men's scarf, expect it to be 1) worn by men, most of whom are said to have hair sticking out of their faces all the time, and 2) from time to time with the aforementioned hair on their chin in contact comes. If these two things cause the scarf to fall apart, I suspect the scarf should be made from a more durable material.
