Review on Charis Allure Lightweight Waterproof Windbreaker Women's Clothing for Coats, Jackets & Vests by Christina Moreno

Beautiful jacket - great value for money!

I had the perfect opportunity to try this jacket on the first very rainy, windy and cold coastal day of the season and I was so pleased with it. The jackets and coats I had were either too hot or too cold for the transition between seasons, but they were just the right weight. Advantages: they protected from rain and cold, but at the same time seemed very light. Zip fly and a full-length overlapping button placket that fastens top-to-bottom - can be worn alone or with rivets to prevent cold air from seeping through the zip. big as a mask when I left mine in the car and spilled it out of a bucket. Very handy to have this!) Has drawstrings at the waist to help shape the jacket. The striped lining is particularly attractive on the hood, which also has a drawstring tie. Lined pockets have buttons. Unexpected details otherwise only found on more expensive coats – like the striped lining under the storm flaps, often just below the right shoulder, and most often on trench coats, but on both shoulders on this jacket. Striped lined bag, striped ties. See my photo. Cons: The color of the blue jacket does not match the product photo which is much lighter than the blue. The real color is dark blue steel. It's ok because it matches my rubber shoes, but it's far from the color I expected. See my photo. The jacket is not very fitted. Even with the ties at the waist, it looks a little boxy. Overall I'm happy with this jacket, I just wish it was blue like the photo. It is ideal for transitional weather where many raincoats/coats are either too light or too heavy.
