Review on Gymnic Rody Sport 🐴 Red Horse: Enhancing Fitness and Fun by Johnathan Stoner

This is an update of our original review (which received 4 stars). Rodi is so tiny that it cannot be inflated past the 27" center or it will become lumpy and ruined! We bought for a 1 1/2 year old and then the size was ok but it was supposed to be for a 3-6 year old! NO WAY! Now she is 2 1/2 and Rody is too small for her and has been for a while. She's only ridden it a few times when it was new but honestly it's tiny and unless your child is super tiny it will be too small for any 3 year old and maybe even a 2 year old like us. My husband tried to fix it by inflating a little more, but once over inflated (over 27 inches at the center of the seat) the horse becomes lumpy and ruined and doesn't return to its original shape, so DON'T TRY more air to make it bigger. We had to throw out and replace ours so we're at Rody #2. There is a 38 inch Rody Max which should be for an older child but will probably be the only one big enough for a 3 year old . We also bought a swing base but removed it when she was 2 because she never rode it and now it's a few inches shorter and she can't ride it! Just a ridiculous waste of money in our opinion. We love Rodi and believe that this horse will be successful for a long time. The only thing we don't like is the smell! We bought a few weeks before Christmas and pumped it up straight away, but it's after Christmas here and we can still smell it in the room. So far, the baby rides for a few seconds and immediately dismounts, so we think the smell bothers them too. We've also washed Rody several times with soap and water, but the vinyl still smells pretty bad. I hope it doesn't release the toxins in that smell that bothers us. I would recommend bathing Rody and leaving the horse in the garage for a couple of weeks before bringing him indoors.
