Ideal for appliquΓ©s and decorative patches

My wife had a favorite green shirt. The neighbor's dog was delighted, jumped on her and tore a small piece of the upper chest of the shirt on the right side. I bought this iron on a patch and attached it to a shirt. It took a little longer for the patch to stick securely than stated in the instructions. Basically for the past hour I've been heating the patch with paper for a long time to protect it. It took about 10 minutes of heat and it's for their best. The hard part was getting the stem to stick. Just apply lots of high heat and when you think it's enough, do it for another minute. Keep the iron moving so you don't burn the patch. I surprised my wife with her favorite shirt which she thought was gone. And she LOVES the shamrock. Looks like it was made for a shirt. We'll see how it holds up in the wash. However, my 22 month old daughter tried to rip it off her t-shirt but it didn't work! LAUGH OUT LOUD!
