These towels are amazingly soft and absorbent and have done a great job drying my car. I used one as a final towel to dry the car after washing and then dried it first with an MF XL waffle towel. I didn't need all six towels so I gave my mom a few and she uses them to wipe things down. and dry the dishes before putting them away, that works great for them. And the ability to wash and dry it is a huge plus. I'm going to say something that might be controversial here, but I would say not to get bogged down in GSM reviews. I have an 850 gsm towel and while thick enough it doesn't absorb water as well as these towels, I think the long fiber staples are more important than the gsm rating for this purpose. Definitely I highly recommend these microfiber towels, they do a great job. at a great price.
