The four oversized mop heads are approximately 5 1/2" by 18" and fit my mop head well. The packaging comes vacuum packed to save space in transit and at first glance the pods looked pretty flimsy. After about an hour they were swollen and looking much better. The front of the pads alternates between longer, plush, light green stripes and shorter, threadlike, dark green stripes. I found the plush strips worked well to get into the grout of my tile floor and ended up looking pretty messy when I finished mopping the kitchen floor. The darker streaks are meant to remove more stubborn dirt, but I didn't see that - the darker streaks still looked pretty clean after using the pad. The backing of the pad is a smooth light green fabric that fits securely. to the rough streaks on my mop. Putting the gasket on was very easy and when it came time to take it off I had to pull really hard to get it off. Needless to say, the pad didn't slip when wiping. It feels like there is a layer of foam between the front and back and this helped the pad penetrate the seam seams. The edges of the pads have a shiny envelope piping that is well sewn and should wear out better than the knitted edges of the pads. The pads are machine washable and tumble dry low, but I've found that these pads (especially the ones with a layer of foam inside) last a lot longer if I drop them instead. There is a small white loop on the back for very convenient hanging between uses. Mopping the floor is not one of my favorite things to do, but these nice big mops definitely make the job go a lot faster.
