PC built in 2018 with: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3466MHz C16 Desktop Memory. Updated April 2020 to this kit: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 1.35V Desktop Memory - Black Pros: - You can use the RGB RAM fan from the previous Continue using the kit without connecting LEDs. - RAM runs stable at 3200MHz at 1.29V. - iCUE loaded to control RAM RGB. iCUE has a plugin to control ASUS RGBs. Cons: - Lots of RAM at 55mm makes CPU cooler compatibility difficult. - Had to order a Tekiro 7 piece Mini L-Key Short Hex Metric Set to find allen wrenches I could use to remove the light bar. If they reach a height of 52mm, I'm satisfied. - I would prefer the non-RGB option. *Update* RGB removed and RAM is now under the 52mm DIMM gap required for the new cooler I ordered (shipping September/October). RAM fan removed. Removed iCUE: no problems, but no longer needed.
