Great reusable packaging and great for avocados!

Love this product as an alternative to plastic wrap! Cute design is a plus, but the main reason for moving away from plastic packaging is to reduce the use/purchase of plastic for the environment. This reusable beeswax sheet is great for covering our cut foods. It even worked to keep our avocado half green for 24 hours. The plastic wrap didn't even last 6 hours. So far we've only used 2 of the pack and they've worked well for avocados, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. We also tried it on guacuum, this worked fine for 24 hours, only the thin top layer turned brown, but unfortunately not 48 hours (which was more of an experiment than anything). Other foods will last longer covered with this foil, although we tend to use up pre-cut foods within 72 hours. The only slight downside is that the wax can leave a sticky film on your hands IF your hands get really warm to put the bandage on yourself. It washes off easily with soap and water and that only happened once out of the 15 or so times I've used it. I've used each size many times over the past 6 months or so; They are very strong and durable. I only had to throw out one of the small and one of the medium wraps as they no longer stick. I knew they would run out over time and I'm so glad to see they lasted quite a while (I've been using them almost daily since June 2020). They extend the shelf life of cold cuts in my fridge and are easy to clean (I wipe down the beeswax casing with cold or lukewarm water and sometimes use just a small amount of natural dish soap when it gets stained like a ripe avocado). I let them air dry over a dish dryer, then put them in their original packaging in the fridge between uses. I buy packaging for my mother so she can reduce her plastic waste too!
