Inexpensive and durable cable ties
These are simple thin cable ties. They are small and flexible, so they work great with a small number of cables. They are black and fit most cords, are well organized and out of the way. I still prefer non-permanent cable ties, but this is a great and cheap (and more durable) alternative.
