They're just adorable so just plug in and switch on the plug. I know people who have done this, but they had to punch a hole in a glass bottle to power the light, which is very difficult without breaking the glass. They also came with built-in batteries, which surprised me a lot given the low price. There are nine in the box, so now I have to drink nine bottles of wine, which shouldn't be a problem. ;) I will order more lights and keep drinking. I plan to put them outside by the pool for parties and in the garden. I'm in Florida so it's outdoor season for us. I'll add a photo when I'm done.
