I've had the Mavic Pro Platinum for about a month now and I'm impressed with its performance, it's very good technology. Flight options are excellent, from smart modes to sport mode, and even the default flight mode is a great tool for photographers and videographers. However, you must learn to use every aspect of the drone with time and care to get the most out of it. The hardware (aircraft, RC and smart battery) gave me no problems, but I should point out that the software can and certainly will be an issue for PC users. I had problems installing drivers for the Mavic, then there was a problem with the calibration function in the DJI Assist software, but everything was solved by checking out the forums and DJI technical support as much as possible. All in all a great product, but getting the most out of it requires some hardware and software knowledge. If you're looking for a portable drone with great performance, buildable materials, and good image quality, Mavic is for you. If you choose this drone then you will definitely need extra batteries and a fast multi-charger; and If you want the best possible image quality, I highly recommend using neutral density filters.
