I have bought lens hoods for both 55mm and 58mm lenses and am really impressed with these kits. They seem well constructed and easy to use. One feature I find very useful is the ability to switch Tulip lens hoods from the front (for photography) to the back (for storage) without having to unscrew the mounting ring. The cover is designed to snap into place and detach from the mounting ring. When assembled it is securely fastened, but shifting is very easy. This is useful for reducing the chance of cross-threading as you have to unscrew the cap every time you want to switch functions. I also like the fact that lens hoods can be used with the included lens cap. Lens hood kits are real value when it comes to quality and value. I'm glad I bought them. The 58mm foldable lens hood I received did not have the correct threads to attach to the lens. When I contacted Veatree, they responded quickly. They support their product and replace the defective part. I was very impressed with the customer service they provided and would happily buy from them again.
