So I don't have to worry about damaging the device when I take the iPhone out of the holder after turning off the car power. I also appreciate that the mount and mounting head are fully adjustable as well. It stretches quite a long way, way more than I need. Also included was a QC 3.0 car charger and a flat plate with 3M tape on the bottom for mounting on uneven surfaces. I found it extremely useful in the Honda Odyssey. This product is very convenient and easy for everyday use. You no longer have to connect a lighting cable or even a cable! Of course, a Type-C cable is needed, but it only needs to be connected once!
