When the IR remote on my 2016 2016 Samsung UN55J6300 LED Remote failed, I was expecting to spend over $50 for a replacement remote. Imagine my surprise when the market is flooded with compatible sub-$10 options - and they work! While this remote control is not an exact copy, it is almost identical to my original. If you cut the cable and connect to your local TV using an antenna, there's one important button to check - the Dash button. My OTA channels contain hyphens like 2-1, 28-1. The first remote control ordered had to be returned because no dash key was included. Very satisfied after 2 weeks of use. Fingers crossed this lasts longer than the 4 years I had with the original.
