1 month update: The touch gesture controls on these headphones are some of the best I've experienced. I don't usually use gestures with other headphones because they're just unreliable, you press and nothing happens, or you press and something doesn't happen that you expected. I was recently caught in a torrential thunderstorm and soaked my headphones in something bad, but they didn't even show any sign of damage or pain. So far, so good. *** The active noise cancellation is implemented very well. The functions are controlled via the TCL Connect app and it's way better than I expected! Gestures can be assigned to either the left or right earbud, depending on preference, and range from touches to adjust volume to play or assistant gestures. In general, very well thought-out gesture control with extensive customization options and the headphones themselves react reliably to all gestures. The sound is balanced, with pleasant highs and subtle lows. Mid frequencies are not attenuated at any volume. Didn't try to make calls as I mostly use headphones for music on my commute. Headphones can get very loud. Google Fast Pairing worked as expected, pairing was a breeze. Very happy with what TCL headphones offer, definitely value for money.
