INTERAC has automated our payroll process so that we can save time and money.

INTERAC has allowed us to automate our payroll process so that we can save time and money. This has made the entire payroll process quicker and cheaper for us. Our client has been happy with the service and feedback from the staff has been excellent. I would recommend INTERAC because they offer many different products including an online portal where you can view your paychecks electronically instead of having to wait until payday. Their customer care representative was very helpful when my husband had problems getting his paycheck into his bank account and he could get it fixed within minutes. They were available 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Also, this year, INTERAC changed the way they handle direct deposit which worked much better than before! Before, if there was ever any problem with the deposits being processed or delayed then all you did was call them and they told you everything was fine and that it will take a few more weeks for it to arrive at your house. With INTERAC, you just log onto their website anytime during banking hours and see exactly how much is coming to your accounts. If something goes wrong (which never happens) they help you figure it out right away and give you options as to how you want to proceed such as depositing manually, etc.

Pros
  • INTERAC provides electronic access to one’s personal information allowing employees to manage their financial affairs without the assistance of a human resources department.
  • INTERAC gives employees access to timely pay by making direct deposit mandatory.
Cons
  • There are a few glitches here and there but nothing that is really noticeable.
  • Employees are not given direct control over the funds deposited into their account and therefore cannot easily monitor the spending habits of those funds.
  • Not sure if INTERAC does what they claim to do.
