Better than expected
This is an excellent learning tool that exceeds my expectations for the price. My 1 year old granddaughter happily pulls out the pieces while I name the shapes. The small hands promote their small motor control. There is great potential for further learning in colors, shapes, mapping and dexterity. I supervise her use and of course she doesn't put anything in her mouth. I learned from the Montessori website how to get her doing jigsaw puzzles from such a young age and this item was in my price range and I felt it would grow with her.
