I saw these curtains for sale on random Chinese websites for a while and assumed they were probably not very good quality but I couldn't stop thinking about them, so i took a chance and bought it. Boy am I glad I did that. The pink and blue matches my Pottery Barn Teen duvet perfectly as you can see in the photos. If I had tried, I couldn't have planned it better. Nothing in these photos obscures the window behind the curtains. They block the light quite well, but are by no means blackout curtains. The lighter photos were taken with the ceiling fan on. In darker photos, the light in the room is not on, all the light comes from the window. Curtains are more like a mosquito net than traditional silky curtains. It's a very thin fabric that has a bit of a stretch and the weave is really loose. I think they could easily snag on a piece of jewelry or a cat's claw or something, but so far I haven't had any problems with it. They are only attached to the top of the curtain and hang down freely so you can just tie the curtains if you wish. But this makes the fabric look much darker and spoils the overall look of the curtain in my opinion. The colored fabric behind the curtains is definitely synthetic and doesn't look very pretty. The two colors of the gradient blend well, but the rendering of the gradient image is somewhat imperfect. It has several horizontal stripes that you can see on the printer strips. It's not really noticeable unless you look for it. The ties he came with were pretty crappy, just gold rope cords meant to tie each record. I don't like them so I never used them. Since the panels are grommets, I can just pull them off when I want to look out the window. Overall these curtains look great from a distance but have more flaws up close. I personally love them, I think they are perfect for my room and the color is exactly what I was hoping for based on the product photos. I wish there was an option for gold grommets because the silver doesn't match my curtain rod, but overall I really love them and I think they really bring the room together. :)
