My Chromebook is white. I think it's a black Chromebook in the picture. From the picture it seemed to me that the buttons were neon or glow in the dark or something like that. That made me a little hesitant to order it. I didn't want to go blind about the key boxes. I figured I'd just send it back if I didn't like it. Well I LOVE it! It's not neon at all. I ordered a green case for my Chromebook and this green key case is just as green. So not flashy and not neon. Since mine is white, I don't have the same gray background as the picture either. My daughter put a keyboard protector on me in about 5 seconds and if I didn't know the keys weren't green I wouldn't know there was a cover on the keys. It fits the keys perfectly. Again, my Chromebook is white so the transparent portion of the lid that sits between the keys is barely visible. I only bought this because I love the color green and I wanted my keys to fit in my pocket. However, an added bonus that I wasn't aware of when ordering is that it also protects against dust and stains. I'm a bit germphobic. I love that I can easily clean this cover without removing the letters from the keys and keep my original board clean. I also like the feel of the silicone. He has a good grip.
