Nothing surprising here, a modern-width (3.15in rather than old std of 3.4" - 3.75") solid colored tie that is not the common plain smooth satin - which tend to look out of place in office attire. This has a fine twill type weaving lines in the material, color was true, price great. Slightly shinier than expected but not an issue, would buy again. With about three dozen ties in rotation, the solid navy and solid burgundy probably get the most wear, super versatile especially with patterned shirts.
