I bought these shoes to replace a worn out pair of Cole Haan Grandpro. These are not an adequate substitute. Appearance gets 4 stars, looks great. Customization is a problem. There is no sense of stability in the construction of the shoe. It's as if the upper is attached to the sole after the fact, rather than as two pieces meant to be joined. As you walk, the entire top levitates and becomes a moving sphere. Combined with a very flat outsole, these shoes "slap" on the ground when walking. If you wear them during the workday or if you walk a lot, you can be disappointed in them, as I am.
