The sound is decent for the size. But the buttons don't do what they're supposed to do unless you press them manually from below. And even then, it's a box of chocolates because you never know what you're going to get. When the thing is on the surface and you press the side that controls the volume, it turns off the device. The power button doesn't always respond, in which case you have to press the power button to hear "Power On". So it's a crap that any button can do. Shit is the working word. Volume down turns the volume up, volume up turns the thing off. Once it's actually on it sounds good, as do other Bluetooth speakers of this size. It was a price that made it a reasonable risk. So if it's on sale and you need something like this, grab it. Otherwise I cannot recommend it.
