I purchased Rocket Risers to raise a standard 72" wide drop down table to accommodate my computer, studio monitors and other recording equipment. I wanted to raise the whole table so I could roll up the piano keyboard and push something under the table. This would allow the instrument to be set at the ideal height for playing/recording while still allowing easy access to my computer's keyboard and mouse. After spending just a few minutes installing Rocket Risers and then reassembling the computer and recording hardware, I was thrilled to finally have the recording device I'd always dreamed of for only $40 including shipping. I saved over $500 (or more) off the price of an electronic lift table. Even better, when I'm not recording, I push back the piano keyboard, pull up a standard high chair with a backrest, and work on the computer comfortably and without back pain. In my opinion, this is the best $40 I've spent in a long time. The higher level also allows me to fit an entire rack of external gear under my desk where previously there wasn't enough space. If you're recording and can't or don't want to buy fancy studio furniture ($1,000 minimum), a standard 72-inch wide folding table with Rocket stands opens up a multitude of never-before-seen studio setup options. I couldn't be happier! The same goes for your back, shoulder and eyes!
