The scale is accurate enough, it's a few pounds lighter than the doctors scale and I'm fine with that. I only use it for weight management because I don't exercise much and having at least one at home allows me to keep track of myself and my eating habits. It has a sleek design and low profile. The included batteries died within the first few days I had them, but that wasn't a big deal as we always have spare batteries on hand. If you choose to use it, you can also buy some batteries for it. The new ones last much longer.
