I ordered purple and personally it was much more boring. The golden color is more reminiscent of a dusty beige. Purple is also cooler than warm purple like in the picture. I agree with another reviewer that you can feel and hear the plastic nature of the non-cotton fibers when you touch the fabric. I just don't feel like it gives me the joy and satisfaction I expected for $40 so I'm going back.
