So I got this for a couple of youtube shoots. But I immediately had problems making good films. Testing in my room, I got some pretty bad video files. And I was about to return it until I found a tiny line hidden deep in the instructions. "Give yourself at least 2m of space to shoot." And after testing it further, I realized that it absolutely CANNOT focus on anything closer than 6ft. Also, I don't think it actually "shoots" in 4k. I think it shoots at 1080 and interpolates to 4k. I'm still playing around with the film quality settings, but I get worse results when the default "Best Film Quality" setting is selected. Ultimately I would like it to have a better camera and be able to focus on close subjects. But searching for alternatives has shown me that I have to spend three times as much to get what I really want. And to actually get the features this thing claims I'd have to spend 10x more.
