Heavy without the slightest risk of tipping or rocking. One feature that is not advertised and not included in the instructions is the variable alignment between the base and the table. To achieve strength, the table does not rotate as expected. Instead, the table is fixed with 4 screws and the base with 3 screws. This means the table can be tilted in 30% increments depending on whether you want to place the monitor on the left or right side of the computer. I had to find out by accident, because the instructions don't even mention it. However, once you get the hang of it, it's a nice feature.
