I've had it for a month now. I had a similar model that lasted over 5 years. This one came with a hair care attachment, I guess that's what it's called? A head that looks like a giant toothbrush! It didn't exist before. OMG it works so well I don't know how I survived without it! So it has adjustable protection that didn't work very well at the lowest settings in the most private area I tried to cut. Previously I used another #1-10 adjustable head for #1. That's exactly what I wanted to do, so I removed the toothbrush guard to wash it all off and noticed that the shaving blades on this one are angled backwards to create a guard that hardly cuts or scrapes. I've DEFINITELY started using it. I relaxed a little. Continue vigorously. Then he just started climbing where all the intricately grouped, loosely folded tears of skin had been cut off to just past the spiky length, just where it was soft but barely long. I DID NOT GET A HIT and several times the tip of the blade pressed against the loose skin and I bled from the blades cutting me on the regular cut head I was using. This is just one of the investments! All others work great on all of my other hairy areas. But I don't like the shape of the nose trimmer. I had an old round head trimmer and always felt it worked better. You have to be a little more careful with the small 3-tooth. A product that is great in every way can't go wrong or get better for twice the price. I paid 20-25 dollars, I don't remember what
