Good, but broken on hard cases

Unfortunately, after less than a month of use, my case has a chip on the back and a crack on the front. I appreciate that it holds my iPad securely but I expect the case to be more durable. Unfortunately, the return period has expired, so I guess I'll have to live with this problem.
