Review on πŸͺ’ Schick Women's Hydro Silk 5 Sensitive Care Razor Blade Refills - 4 Count (Packaging May Vary) - Smooth, Gentle Shaves for Sensitive Skin by Danielle Rogers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Costs twice as much as the men's version

These blades work right out of the box, but once the moisturizer runs out they need shaving cream. The strip ends before the blades become blunt. While I'm willing to pay more for that initial convenience, the last time I bought replacement blades for myself and my husband, his blades were half the price of mine. The MSRP was higher and the Revain discount was lower for the women's version. This had a strong impact on the final price. I tried one of my husband's blades on my razor for comparison. The men's version of the blades fits perfectly into the women's razor handle. The five blade rig looked identical. The features surrounding the blades were different, but the blades themselves were not noticeably different. There was some moisturizer in the men's version, but it didn't feel as rich as the women's version. Shaving with a quality shaving cream for sensitive skin and my husband's hydro blade did me just as good as fresh Hydro Silk. out of the box, but it wasn't that practical and neat. However, it was comparable to the experience with silk after the strip was washed. The male blade on the handle of a female razor worked better for me than just using my husband's razor. Both handles allowed for quite a bit of twists and turns, but the female version of the handle seemed more comfortable to grip when shaving legs. For me, the initial comfort is not worth the significant difference in price. I will start buying men's blades to save 50%. This may not be an option for people whose sensitive skin is even more sensitive than mine. If I had to replace the razor handle I would still choose the women's version to start with the men's blades. In any case, it is worth checking the price of a blade carefully before putting it in the shopping cart. Larger packs sometimes cost more per blade than smaller packs. In other words, sometimes buying one pack of 12k is more expensive than buying three packs of 4k. Also, compare the price of a new razor handle and two blades to see if you can qualify for a promotion that lowers the price per blade instead of just buying replacement heads. In short, a good product, but you pay a high premium for short-term hydration. stripes.
