To tell you the truth, I regret purchasing the 600D when I could have instead purchased the 500D and an additional 8000 accessories. The functionality is comparable to that of the Canon 600d and the Canon 500d to a large extent. The benefits of it include: After utilizing it for a period of half a year, here is what I have observed: 1. I thought the screen itself was pretty cool, and the photos that were displayed on it looked much better than those on the monitor. 2. The matrix is not a terrible thing. 3. Even though there are filters designed specifically for artistic expression, I have never used them. These are some downsides: 1. The swivel screen is something I use very infrequently because I'm always afraid of breaking it off. 2. The lens that came with the kit has a lot of soapiness and chromate, and you need a lens that ranges from 17 to 85 or something similar. 3. At ISO 400+, fierce noises appear.
