Neewer is winning the race among all the cheap Chinese film and photo makers and this new product takes them one step further. They're fantastically bright for the money, way brighter than the 1x1 LEDs we have, and the light is so soft and buttery smooth that no diffs or softboxes are needed. It's not known how long-lasting they are for serious production work or filming, but honestly you can buy 10 of these for the price of Kino Diva, or 35 for the price of WW Skypanel, so just buy a few more in case one dies. or the hardware fails! The remote control is basic but has everything you need. You can control color temperature, brightness and set channels to control different light sources with one remote control. The case is simple but lined with foam, and each item has a plastic bag, which is an odd obsession among Chinese gear makers. I recently received something that had a piece of paper in a plastic bag. Dear Neewer, I promise you that no one on earth needs plastic bags around every cable, cord, part and piece of paper! Stop it! Either way, it's a beautiful light and just a few of them will bathe your space in a soft, amazing glow. I'm sure they are working on an RGB version and I'll be buying a few as soon as they come out.
