Review on 🧵 Dritz 562- Tailors Ham Sewing Tool: Optimal for Seam Stress Relief and Precision Stitching by Barbara Simmons

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Pay attention to the part of the cover that looks like wool and will melt on contact with a hot iron. REGARDING good quality and very useful tool

I would like to rate it higher but the part that looks like wool is NOT wool and will actually melt on contact with a hot iron. NOT the quality you would expect from a tailor's ham whose very definition and vital function is frequent contact with a hot iron. The rest of the build quality is good. and luckily my iron didn't deteriorate much. Now I only use it with the white side until it melts so I think it's cotton. I love tailor's ham, I have both this one and the seam. should have bought a few years ago they are so useful.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Very expensive
