Review on Casio G Shock Anti Magnetic Khaki GA100L 8A by Lori Uniacke

Why have digital functions at all if they are not visible.

I'm replacing an old G-Shock that's 15 years old and it was a phenomenal watch. This watch is more of a fashion item than a tactical digital watch. The old watch's digital clock was readable in any light. This watch has no backlight in the digital part and I have to put the watch under the light at least half the time to see the digital display. I would not recommend this watch to anyone who needs time or other functions at any time of the night or in the dark hours of the day. The watch's backlight sits atop the digital portion of the watch, making the readings even harder to read by highlighting the analog portions. . I'm going to return this watch and find something more functional, except for an analog one, maybe with a backlight. I should have read the reviews but the G-Shock's performance to date has made me ignore the free advice.
